Restaurants and bars
Every kitchen is run by people we hired rather than licensed, and every menu changes when the supply does.

Lobster, halibut and scallops landed on this wharf, cooked with as little interference as possible.

Oysters, chowder, and thirty Maine beers, in a room with paper on the tables and no pretence.

Cocktails · $$$
Facing the harbour mouth, with a list built on rye, cider brandy and things foraged nearby.
Coffee & bakery · $
Open at five for the crews. Blueberry buns, doughnuts and coffee strong enough to matter.

Breakfast & lunch · $$
A glass room on the roof, warm all winter, with eggs, hash and a very good chowder.
Practical
Every kitchen keeps an allergen matrix at the pass and every menu is available in large print. Tell whoever seats you and they will tell the kitchen.
Welcome everywhere except the gaming floor and the bars after 8 PM. There is a proper children's menu rather than three fried things.
Full vegetarian and vegan options at every venue, not a single substitution, and gluten-free bread made rather than bought in.
There is no dress code anywhere. We ask for smart dress in one room late in the evening and we ask it kindly.
